World Smile Day / Smile Mission Cards
Smile Mission Cards
Children choose secret mission cards, such as helping someone tidy or giving a compliment, and set out to make as many people smile as they can.
How to run it
- Write or print kind mission cards: hold the door, give a compliment, invite someone to play, help tidy up.
- Each child draws two or three cards and keeps them secret.
- During the session, children complete their missions for friends, educators and families.
- At the end, share how it felt to make someone smile and how others reacted.
You will need
- index cards
- markers
- small envelope or pocket for each child (optional)
Make it easier or harderYounger children can choose picture cards with simple missions; older children can design their own missions for the group.
