World Teachers' Day / Get to Know Our Educators Quiz
Get to Know Our Educators Quiz
Children interview the OSHC educators and school staff about their own school days and hobbies, then turn the answers into a guessing quiz for the group.
How to run it
- Help children write a short list of friendly interview questions, such as 'What was your favourite subject at school?'.
- Send pairs of children to interview educators (and any willing school staff) and record the answers.
- Turn each answer into a 'Which educator…?' quiz question on a card.
- Run the quiz with the whole group, then let educators reveal the stories behind their answers.
You will need
- paper
- clipboards
- pencils
- index cards
Make it easier or harderYounger children can ask one question and draw the answer; older children can write multiple-choice options and keep score.
SafetyCheck with staff beforehand so everyone is comfortable sharing, and keep questions friendly and non-personal.
