Gross and Messy Day / Torchlight Spooky Obstacle Course
Torchlight Spooky Obstacle Course
Children navigate a simple obstacle course in a dimmed room using torches, ducking under webs and crawling through tunnels.
How to run it
- Set up a simple course with tunnels, string webs and soft obstacles.
- Dim the lights but keep enough light to see the floor.
- Give each child a torch and send them through one at a time.
- Add spooky sounds and finish with lights on to review.
You will need
- torches
- tunnels
- string
- soft mats
- cones
Make it easier or harderLeave more lights on for less confident children; time runs for older children.
SafetyKeep the room dimmed, not fully dark, use soft obstacles only and let children opt out.
