Time Travellers Day / Time Zone Capture the Flag
Time Zone Capture the Flag
Teams represent different eras, such as dinosaurs, knights or the future, and play capture the flag across the yard.
How to run it
- Divide children into two teams and give each an era name and team colour.
- Mark a halfway line and place each team's flag at the back of their zone.
- Players try to grab the other team's flag without being tagged in enemy territory.
- Tagged players wait in a 'time jail' until freed by a teammate.
You will need
- flags or bandanas
- cones
- coloured bibs
Make it easier or harderShrink the field for younger children; add extra flags or roles for older children.
SafetyAgree on gentle two-finger tagging and check the field for hazards.
