Great Race Day / Team Flag Design
Team Flag Design
Each team designs its own flag with a name, colours and symbols, building identity and team spirit before a race or games day.
How to run it
- Talk about how flags use colours and symbols to show meaning.
- Give each team card or fabric and markers.
- Teams agree on a name, colours and a symbol.
- Decorate the flag and attach it to a stick or cone.
- Each team presents their flag and explains its meaning.
You will need
- card or calico
- markers
- paint
- sticks or dowel
- tape
Make it easier or harderProvide ready-cut symbols for younger children; older children can design a team motto too.
