Space Explorers / Space Cadet Training Course
Space Cadet Training Course
Children work through a space cadet obstacle course with balance, crawling and blindfolded trust challenges, guided by a partner's voice.
How to run it
- Set up cones, hoops and balance lines in an open space.
- Pair children up, with one wearing a blindfold.
- The partner guides them through a short section using only clear words.
- Swap roles and finish with a timed run without blindfolds.
You will need
- cones
- hoops
- blindfolds or scarves
- skipping ropes for balance lines
Make it easier or harderSkip blindfolds for younger children, or add timed challenges and harder balance moves for older children.
SafetyKeep the blindfold section slow and short on soft ground, and let children opt out of being blindfolded.
