Great Race Day / Service-Wide Challenge Race
Service-Wide Challenge Race
Teams race through challenge stations around the whole service, collecting clues that lead them to a final finish line.
How to run it
- Plan a route of challenge stations with a clue envelope at each.
- Form mixed-age teams and give each a starting clue.
- At each station, teams complete the challenge to earn the next clue.
- Stagger start times or routes so teams are spread out.
- Gather at the finish to celebrate every team.
You will need
- clue envelopes
- challenge props
- team bibs or colours
- map of the service
Make it easier or harderUse picture clues for younger children; older children can act as team leaders or design a station.
SafetyKeep all stations within supervised areas.
