Children turn odd socks into pet puppets, then put on a pet show. A creative mix of craft and performance.
How to run it
- Children choose a sock and plan their pet.
- Glue on felt ears, eyes and tongues.
- Practise a voice and personality.
- Perform a pet show in small groups.

- buttons or googly eyes
- PVA or fabric glue
Make it easier or harderUse stickers for younger children; older children can write and perform a short script.
SafetySupervise buttons and googly eyes with younger children as they are a choking size.
