Flag Design and Symbols
Children explore what the colours and symbols on flags mean, then design their own flag that represents something about themselves.
How to run it
- Show a few flags and discuss what their colours and symbols represent.
- Ask children to think about what matters to them.
- Sketch a flag design on paper.
- Paint or colour the final design on card.
- Each child shares the meaning of their flag.
You will need
- card
- paint
- markers
