Planet Mobile
Children paint foam balls as planets and hang them from a frame to make a solar system mobile.
How to run it
- Paint polystyrene balls in planet colours.
- Leave to dry on skewers stuck in foam.
- Thread string through each planet.
- Tie to a stick or coat hanger in order from the sun.

Make it easier or harderUse fewer planets for younger children, or have older children make planets to scale.
