International Dance Day / Mirror Partner Moves
Mirror Partner Moves
Partners face each other and slowly mirror each other's movements to calm music, building focus, trust and connection.
How to run it
- Pair children up facing each other, one as the leader and one as the mirror.
- Play slow, calm music and have the leader move slowly with arms, head and body.
- The mirror copies the movement as closely as possible, then partners swap.
- Try 'no leader' rounds where partners try to move together without anyone leading.
