How to run it
- Set out a big pile of clean recyclables, tape and glue.
- Give a simple brief, such as a robot, an animal or a tower.
- Let children plan, build and test their sculptures in pairs or small groups.
- Finish with a gallery walk where each group explains their creation.
You will need

- cardboard tubes
- masking tape
- PVA glue
- scissors
Make it easier or harderKeep it free building for younger children, or add a height or moving-part challenge for older children.
