Children write and decorate thank-you messages for their school teachers and OSHC educators, building a colourful wall of appreciation to share with staff and the school.
How to run it
- Cover a wall or large board with butcher's paper titled 'Thank You, Educators'.
- Talk about the many people who help children learn, from classroom teachers to librarians, aides and OSHC staff.
- Have children write or draw a thank-you on a cut-out apple, star or hand shape.
- Stick each message onto the wall and invite school staff to come and read it at pick-up time.
You will need
- butcher's paper
- coloured card
- scissors
