International Dance Day / Dance Dice Choreography
Dance Dice Choreography
Teams roll giant dice to choose moves, levels and directions, then string them together into a short dance to perform.
How to run it
- Make two dice from cardboard boxes: one with moves (spin, jump, wave, clap, wiggle, slide) and one with directions or levels.
- In small groups, children roll both dice four times and write down each combination.
- Groups link the moves into a short routine and practise to music.
- Each group performs, and the audience tries to spot every dice move.
