Basketball Day / Knockout Shooting Game
Knockout Shooting Game
Players line up and race to sink a shot before the person behind them, in a classic elimination basketball game.
How to run it
- Line players up at the free-throw line with two balls.
- The first two players shoot.
- If the second player scores before the first, the first is out.
- Players who score pass the ball to the next in line.
- Continue until one player remains, then start a new round quickly.
You will need
- two basketballs
- hoop
Make it easier or harderGive everyone a second life; skilled players can shoot from further back.
SafetyWorks outdoors or in a school hall or indoor court; use a softer ball indoors. Players out of the game wait clear of the shooting area.
