Teamwork Day / Group Juggle
Group Juggle
Children stand in a circle and pass several balls in a set pattern, working together to keep everything moving without dropping a ball.
How to run it
- Stand in a circle and pass one ball across the circle to set a pattern, each child saying the name of who they throw to.
- Repeat the same pattern until everyone remembers it.
- Add a second, then third ball into the same pattern.
- Talk about what helped the group keep the balls going.
You will need
- soft balls or beanbags
Make it easier or harderUse a large soft ball and one at a time for younger children; add more balls or a reverse pattern for older ones.
SafetyUse soft balls or beanbags indoors.
My Time Our Place · Outcome 3, Outcome 5Children rely on eye contact and names to keep the pattern going, building connection and communication.
