Down on the Farm / Farm Animal Sensory Tub
Farm Animal Sensory Tub
Children dig through oats or hay to find hidden toy farm animals, naming each one and the sound it makes.
How to run it
- Fill a large tub with dry oats or clean hay.
- Hide small toy farm animals throughout.
- Let children dig with hands or scoops to find the animals.
- Have them name each animal and its sound, then sort them into a cardboard barn.
You will need
- large tub
- rolled oats or clean hay
- toy farm animals
- scoops
Make it easier or harderUse larger animals for younger children; older children can sort by animal product such as milk, wool or eggs.
