Superhero Day / Fabric Superhero Capes
Fabric Superhero Capes
Children cut capes from old pillowcases or felt and add their own emblem with fabric paint.
How to run it
- Cut pillowcases along the sides to make a cape shape.
- Let children design an emblem on paper first.
- Paint the emblem onto the cape and let dry.
- Attach hook-and-loop tape at the neck for safe fastening.
You will need
- old pillowcases or felt
- fabric paint
- hook-and-loop dots
- scissors
Make it easier or harderPre-cut capes for younger children, or have older children sew on felt emblems.
SafetyUse hook-and-loop tape only, never ties, so capes come off easily.
