Extreme Challenge Day / Cable Reel Adventure Course
Cable Reel Adventure Course
Older children build and tackle an adventure course of cable reels, planks and ropes, testing balance and teamwork.
How to run it
- Check all reels, planks and ropes for damage and splinters.
- Plan a course with children, keeping heights low.
- Set up the equipment on soft ground with educator checks of every join.
- Let children tackle the course one at a time, with spotters.
You will need
- cable reels
- planks
- ropes
- soft fall matting
Make it easier or harderLower and simplify the course for less confident children; time runs for those ready for more.
SafetyKeep heights low, check equipment before use, use soft fall, and supervise closely at all times.
